O&M Technician

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to support rooftop solar projects across the Northern region (Penang, Kedah, Perak). The role involves conducting preventive and corrective maintenance, visual inspections, and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability and performance.

Job description

Perform corrective maintenance (CM) and preventive maintenance (PM) for all rooftop projects in the Northern region (Penang, Kedah, Perak).
Carry out visual inspections and perform maintenance tasks according to the provided checklist.
Conduct troubleshooting, defect identification, and rectification works as required on-site.
Ensure all maintenance activities are completed within the timeline and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Prepare basic reports on maintenance activities and communicate effectively with the team and supervisors.
Support the team with any additional tasks assigned to ensure project completion.

Job requirements

Education: Diploma in Electrical / equivalent qualification, OR certified chargeman/wireman.
Skills:
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in maintenance or related field.
Languages:
- Spoken: Malay & English
- Written: Malay & English
Willing to work extra hours when required to complete jobs on time.
Physically fit and able to work on rooftops and outdoors.
Possess valid driving license and willing to travel within Northern region (an added advantage).
