Electrical Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Electrical Engineer to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems, primarily for solar energy applications across industrial, commercial, and domestic sectors. The role involves project planning, technical design, compliance with standards, cost estimation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Job description

Design, improve, and maintain electrical systems and equipment for solar applications.
Use engineering software and CAD tools to execute a range of technical tasks.
Collaborate with customers, engineers, and stakeholders on project specifications.
Prepare technical drawings, system specifications, and ensure installations meet standards.
Perform calculations to establish construction and installation standards.
Oversee installation, manufacturing, and maintenance activities for compliance.
Compile reports and data for ongoing and potential engineering projects.
Specify and recommend purchases of electrical materials and equipment.
Supervise or train team members on project execution.
Estimate labor, material, and construction costs for budget planning.
Maintain electrical equipment and support technicians as needed.

Job requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
Team-oriented with a proactive attitude toward assigned tasks.
Experience with or willingness to learn engineering and design software.
Solid knowledge of electrical codes and engineering standards.
Strong skills in technical design and calculations.
Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin.
