Construction Manager

The Construction Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing all on-site construction activities for civil and solar power projects. This includes ensuring that all work is executed according to project specifications, safety standards, and within the approved timeline and budget. The role requires strong technical expertise in civil engineering and solar plant construction, along with proven leadership in coordinating teams, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve successful project delivery.

Job description

Plan, organize, and supervise daily construction activities for both civil and solar project scopes.
Oversee site preparation, structural works, solar mounting structures, and electrical installation works.
Manage project schedules, manpower planning, equipment utilization, and material procurement.
Coordinate with engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth progress of works.
Review and interpret project drawings, technical specifications, and design documents.
Conduct site inspections to ensure work quality and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Monitor project progress, identify risks or delay, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, permits, and environmental requirements.
Prepare site progress reports, daily logs, and project documentation for management review.
Lead and motivate site teams to achieve project milestones efficiently and safely.

Job requirements

Education: Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Related Field.
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience with construction
Skills: Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office
Language Proficiency: Fluent in Malay and English, both spoken and written.
